A really good service that has saved me from losing my dog more than once. Highly recommended. Sure its not bullet proof and it has its downtime, but the team work hard to ho help. I have recently paid up for the lifetime service having renewed annually for 4 years. As far as I can tell its about the best dog tracker there is. I repeat. Highly recommended.
Avoid. Unreliable units that consistently need resetting. Had to constantly reinstall the app to get it to register the unit - not helpful when on a walk. Gave it a couple of years and multiple faulty units but never had faith in the unit or apps ability to be functioning at any given time. After the 3rd unit broke I gave up because it eeally wasnt giving me the reassurance I expected. Dogtrackernano continued to charge me for the remainder of the year. Customer service is really very poor.
Works again April update - Jan update introduced plotting errors. During that time I discovered the collar works with Dog Tracker Plus and has more accurate distance recording. Nano increases in whole Km's after the first Km, Plus in metres. It's a shame you can not edit walks, if you forget to turn it off, and drive home, your recorded walk is ruined or you can delete it. In Plus you can't do either and it affects your whole week/month totals, but accurate distance makes it the better app.
Have been using Nano for 3 years on runaway Daisy, my Bedlington Terrier. It has totally changed my freedom in walking with her, now that I no longer have to worry about what mischief she is getting up to somewhere in the woods. It is not unusual for her to be almost half a mile away. I can always find her, should she fail to return to me. That freedom is worth its weight in gold, as dusk approaches, the rain is pouring down, and the park gates are about to close. Thank you Nano. Worth every penny.
Stopped receiving alert notifications when dog left the set geofence & battery status etc about 2/3 months ago, app being updated as android apple changed privacy settings updates. hoping its sorted soon as defeats its purpose.'
