About RayRemote
RayRemote transforms your phone into a virtual remote keypad for Raymarine multifunction displays.
Android/Kindle Fire = Best performance achieved with 1GHz processor or better and running Android 2.2.2 or later.
Multi-Functional Display software requirement v 3.15 or later.
Compatible displays (MFDs) all third generation c-Series, e-Series, g-S and Wi-Fi enabled a-Series models, plus all the Axiom range
RayRemote emulates the keypad of Raymarine displays, giving you control of all the MFD functions with large full screen keypad.
The virtual uni-controller lets you rotate through menus and make menu adjustments effortlessly. The app also provides a viewing mode, which mirrors the MFDs display. To use this app please upgrade your Raymarine WiFi enabled Multi-Functional Display to software version 3.15 or later. Software upgrades are available for free at www.raymarine.com/support.
Note - RayRemote will also run on tablet devices, though it is primarily intended for smart phones.
Getting Started
Download the RayRemote app, and install it on your device. You should ensure your device has access to the internet when initially installing to enable verification of the app. Next, connect to your Multifunction Display via Wi-Fi (see MFD operators manual for Wi-Fi setup details). When the Wi-Fi connection is established, launch the app. You should now see the same image on your mobile device as you do on your MFD. Simply touch the screen and a button will appear to switch to remote control mode.
Note - autopilot activation/deactivation is not possible via a mobile device.
Enjoy with UptoPlay the online game RayRemote.

Comments:
Seems nobody is liking this app but I installed it to use on my Axiom. Ok its a little hooky but works fine for advancing my AP to next WP. Software Freemantle, phone S-21 as of 8-31 app no longer working, time for an update. Had updated to Guadalupe when it stopped working
The RayRemote does not control the Axiom units well at all. They use the analogue control style and you have to be looking at the actual screen to see what is happening. This is a complete waste of potential. The RayRemote should be touch screen if it is paired with a touch screen Axiom MFD. Also connection issues are a continuing problem. Raymarine, I implore you to bring your mobile apps up to the same quality as your MFDs.
Totally unusable on the Axiom, and it was clearly NOT designed for a touch screen mfd.. You have no right to advertise this as remote control software, as it can only be used when standing at the device to look at the screen. At least split screen the control so you can see what you're doing. You need to do a professional job and transfer touch locations from phone app to mfd. While you're trying to have your software catch up to the hardware potential, let the phone bluetooth to the mfc, leaving the wifi for seamless internet hotspot sharing so everything works as long as the phone has 4G service. This terrible effort must be really embarrassing to the product manager and design team. I wish I'd gone with Garmin
Thanks for providing the ray remote. We really are enjoying the app. To watch and interact with weather, navigation, radar, fish finder, video, audio via tv below decks during weather offshore, for example, is a huge assistance. The app only took a minut to load onto a prepaid android phone just for the boat. Watch remote chart on tv. We're having fun with this. Wondering about turning over the operating system of phone to another remote... Gotta run a nmea cable to ice maker next. Fun!!!
Absolutely horrible and ridiculous. I spent $3000 on a raymarine setup and their apps only support devices that are 10 years old. Seriously... The andoid devices is support?? ANDROID NEXUS! MY TOUCH 3G! What the &@&$-$-???? It's 2020 and this technology company doesn't have a working app - even though their sales reps claim you can control everything from your phone. Garbage. The app doesn't work."
