StaySafe is the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases official contact tracing mobile app with Google-Apple Exposure Notification (GAEN) feature via Bluetooth in the Philippines
On the app, enable your Bluetooth to activate the GAEN feature. Information about who you have encountered using the GAEN feature will never leave your phone and is automatically deleted after 14 days.
Signing up is optional and you can use the StaySafe app without an account needed. If you have an account, your data will be stored securely on your phone and deleted automatically after 14 days. Your data will be used only for public health purposes and never for enforcement.
The DILG has worked closely with the National Privacy Commission to ensure your privacy and data security are protected.

I like this app... It seems to genuinely work, unlike the rest of the contact tracing apps I've downloaded here in Manila. When is the Philippines gonna get a tracing app that can be universally used in every city in Manila? It's only been 2 years + since this started?!?
Uninstalled the app since apparently the developer wants us to use the web browser anyways. No point in keeping the app around. Also for the OTP, please add a space between the parentheses and first digit of the code so our phones AI can better detect and provide the auto-copy button.
It's not user friendly. I requested a code to access my account but Everytime I try to look at the code from my phone. The page where I supposed to enter the code shears disappear. Not cool. Just big pain in the a$&. I hate it. I've been trying for a long time. I wish there another app I could use than this.
The previous app worked good and more and more places are using it making things easy to enter an establishment. Now with the new update it is useless. It is stuck on a Bluetooth page, with no information on what to do.
Some people say that the app is using BLUETOOTH and GPS, of course that is how the CoViD-19 Exposure API works. Apple and Google clearly said that it will use Bluetooth to ping bluetooth signals from your phone to other phones within the Bluetooth Range (kahit i-search mo pa sa Google). So if using this app, PLEASE 'wag nyo i-off ang Bluetooth. It will render the app useless. App is great but I think the developer of the app should team up with DOH to provide some case info kasi based dito sa app wala paraw CoViD cases dito sa amin even though na mayroon na. 3 Stars lang rating ko kasi some data (like ilang taong positive sa isang lugar) are incomplete. Always remember guys to wash our hands, wear face masks and observe social distancing. Together we heal as one!"
