SHINE WORDS is designed to help children 6-11 who don't speak English learn useful words when settling into a new area and enjoy learning the vocabulary they need.
The app can used instead of the physical cards to play fun educational word games, in one to one sessions and small group activities. Every card either Farsi, Urdu, Latvian, Romanian, Polish, Russian, Kurdish, Slovak words and English. Categories include emotions, family, animals, body parts, clothes, daily places, fun places to visit, workers, activities, objects, time, transport and school.
