When this game came out several years back, it look promising but they never made any improvement other just adding new levels after levels. The fact that they are still showing the very old reward screen shot on their starting page shows that they are still living in the past. It was good short 5 min game once a while on free version. The game is heavy and takes a lot of time to load and now it's almost unusable.
Playing COC for years, this game has that feel but alot of changes on the game style. No massive armies so strategic planning plays a part. Leveling up seems a bit slower at a beginner level. But keeps the relay value up to keep attacking and exploring the seas. Its not a pay to win but some of the offers seems a bit high. $20 for a legendary is a bit much. But they do offer some for in game coins/ grog. So not a deal breaker. Over all give the game a try its slower build up but holds its own.
Very great game, just it would be nice if it recover my Facebook save file from 2 or 3 years ago but I understand if it got lost or deleted. I started a new file and it's going great so far! It reminds me of the time I first tried this on the iPad I had from high school 2 or 3 years ago then transfer the file to Android then save with Facebook.
I've been playing this game for a couple years now, and all I can say, is that it is a great, unique base builder experience. If you are tired of other base builder games, and want to try something new, you should definitely check this game out. With stylized graphics, a 3D camera, and the ability to explore the seas, this game almost always has something to do! The only problem I have with this game is its smaller playerbase, but that's even more incentive to help bring back this game!
I've had so much fun playing this game since i first downloaded it, and even though i lost my progress before i moved on and continued having fun with it but the servers are unbearable, half the time the game won't even load in, and i'll just be locked at the loading screen. i'll change my review to 5 stars when you fix that. edit: it's still inconsistent but the loading times are much better now."
