Magic Claims Tracker is being created to allow a customer to electronically submit new claims that they wish to have the repair shop pick up, repair and return the vehicle back when it is repaired. The status of each vehicle being repaired (the claim) can be updated and automatically send status updates to the vehicle owner through out the repair process. Important information about each vehicle can be recorded and shared with both parties, the customer and the vendor (repair shop). This app will make researching existing claims and closed claims easier because it will have the ability to search for existing claims and closed claims. It will replace the current process of claims being called in and having to be written down on a paper form. The app will be able to report how many claims are pending pick up, how many are ready to be delivered back to the customer. It will also total how many have been picked up and how many have been returned to the customer each day. It can also provide that data based on the dates entered into the search criteria. All changes recorded with each claim are date and time stamped and will be visible in an events log that will be available within each claim. The app will decode the vehicle's 17-digit V.I.N. and populate the year make and model for the claim. Pictures can be uploaded to each claim and saved in the claim.
