I have to admit that Digital Compass is my favorite, most fun and useful, application that I enjoy using on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ Android phone. It sits among my most users apps on my home screen. It really showed my kids how the non digital world provides navigation, direction and position. The next best option, next to the standard handheld models. They don't need batteries though.
`Excellent when needed! A pain in the butt when you don't. Runs in background for no reason, sucking up battery time. We should be able to prevent that by switching it to "OFF".`,pro: 1. good looking GUI 2. Not too many ads con 1 will not re-orient to "landscape" view from "portrait" view even though phone is set to autorotate screen views. (makes it difficult to use w some types of phone mounts/stands)
I can turn my phone 90ish degrees and it only moves 10 degrees on the map. Maybe it's just my phone, but yikes. Google maps is more accurate, and I need precision."
