Enables registered users to book HIGH PRIORITY TAXIS direct through Deltas dispatch system.
iHAIL FUNCTION - uses the Android device's built-in GPS to determine your pickup point. Fine-tune your pick-up point further using the Android devices on-screen map. (iHail function requires your device to have a clear view of the sky)
ENTER ADDRESS / ENTER PLACE OF INTEREST enables you to manually enter your pick-up location by tapping direct into Delta Taxis very own street / place directory.
LIVE TRACKING shows your assigned Delta Taxi homing in to collect you.
FARE ESTIMATES after entering pick-up and destination details, click ESTIMATE FARE for an approximation of the journey price (please note this is a guide only and not a quotation)
FAVOURITE LOCATIONS Personalise your favourites list with all your regular pick-up points for easy 1-click entry.
BOOKING HISTORY Details all your previous booking to assist with after-sales enquiries.
EMAIL ON APPROACH confirms the make, model, registration number and colour of your approaching Delta Taxis.
The Delta Taxis Android App also works in conjunction with the Delta Taxis Web Booker database. If you are already an existing Delta Taxis Web Booker customer there is no need to re-register. Linked to your Web Booker account the Android App gives you access to your booking history & favourite locations from your Web Booker account.

The app crashing on loop after booking is made so there is no way of knowing if the the taxi has been dispatched or trace where the driving at. Disappointing. Please fix it. Thanks
I just love waiting for a full hour only to have my booking cancelled, then calling them which then took a 10 minute wait only for the operator to try turn this on me by saying they tried calling me but got no response. I was sitting there for an hour on my phone staring at the GPS tracker on the app and didn't get any call. The time of my life.
Used app to order a taxi at 07:08 on a Monday Morning. Weather was ok. At 07:38 the app automatically cancelled my taxi as I had not been in touch. I thought that was the whole point of the app? That I didn't have to call? When I did call them and they told me that they offered to book me another taxi but I wpuld wait at least 30 minutes. App is pointless and clearly this company is not as big as it thinks it is.
TLDR: Just call them, the app is a waste of your time. (Using a new S9.) The interface is really clunky and definitely needs a UX overhaul. The search function is overcomplicated and difficult to type into. You can't leave the app to check any other details because it logs you out immediately. When I did manage to order a cab, the app repeatedly gave me the message that things were busy and they'd get to me asap. After half an hour, we gave up and cancelled. Called them instead, cab turned up in 5 minutes, suggesting that calls tale priority over online orders. Deleted this app. Delta either chose a terrible app dev or didn't pay enough.
`This app is very rigid to use; e.g. if I want to book a taxi from Moorfields Station - as in a railway station that any canny should know about - then I have to add a street number. The city centre is not listed as "Liverpool" or 'City Centre' in the suburbs list, more over it's merely 'Central'. Postcode finding would be easier- but it's not an option in this app and the postcodes listed when searching by street don't match the ones I need.`Page navigation:
