Heart vitals provide critical information about the health of your heart, mainly your BP (blood pressure) and HR (heart rate) to medical professionals. Having access to up to date and a large record set is key to managing patients. This app aims to provide easy access to patients to record and monitor their blood pressure (high BP or low BP).

High BP or hypertension can be difficult to detect until years and may cause damage to your body before symptoms develop. When left untreated high BP can lead to disability or even a fatal heart attack or stroke. If you know you have high BP you can potentially keep it in check via lifestyle changes and through medications. It is important to find out if you have normal blood pressure or if you suffer from hypertension or hypo-tension. Not having normal blood pressure may cause damage to kidneys, damage to your brain, damage to arteries, may cause sexual dysfunction and several other issues. Please consult your medical provider to learn more about what issues hypertension and hypo-tension may cause.

It is recommended that you check your blood pressure regularly and keep a log of your readings. Overtime you will learn what your normal ranges are. If you know you are suffering from hypertension or hypo-tension you should consider checking your BP twice daily, preferably around the same time in morning and in the afternoon. It is also recommended to take an average of three BP measurements each time. This may help with anxiety related increased results. Finally, you should not measure your BP straight after exercise or related activities like walking. It is recommended to relax for a while before measuring your BP.

This app can help you with keeping a log, viewing morning/afternoon averages, BP trend and BP analysis. You can even add notes, e.g. medications or feelings within each record.

Medical doctors can view their patient's blood pressure records as soon as they are added to their account. You can have online access to better data, which may be able to assist you with reviewing and updating treatment plans. For added data integrity and protection patients cannot edit a record after 24 hours from when they create the record. This allows them to rectify mistakes and later lock the records for accurate medical considerations. It should be noted that the accuracy of records depend on your patients.

We aim to improve collaboration between patients and medical doctors. For everyone who wants to use this app to know their heart better can use the offline mode.

We take privacy seriously and hence we do not collect any of your medical details, social security numbers, medicare numbers, etc.. All we need is your first name, last name and date of birth so that your medical professional can search and add you as their patient. Although it is optional it is recommended to provide your email address at the time of registration. Email can later be used to reset your password.
