Comments:
Very good, seems to be made with RPG Maker MV, although I don't know that for a fact. Controls are good and work and as described, it manages to be fun even though it's really not all that challenging. Has a decent amount of length to it, and it does have ads, however these are mostly an ad every couple of victories in combat or so, and can be easily dismissed with a simple press the action/confirm button. Not the best RPG out there, but pretty darn good.
The game is good, but the part with the ads is upsetting my gaming experience because there were a couple of times the app unexpectedly closed on me after saving or loading the game save data. That needs to go since ads pop up after battle victories among other things which I don't mind at all. I know it's an old game, but I don't want to pay 5 dollars just to stop receiving ads that would randomly crash the app out of nowhere. What if this occurs again and corrupts my save data?
I needed this. I needed this. I played some stuff from Kemco I wasn't feeling then got handed this masterpiece. Not extravagant with dialogue but feels straight to the point. The characters and story are intertwined interestingly enough. The battle system is simple but has the perfect old school makeup of advancing spells and you can buy new ones which is cool. It was getting old with Kemco dungeons and warp signels but this game doesn't have them. Characters aren't weird, everything is serious, and there's an adult feel overlaying everything especially when the enemy is referred to as The Mafia. Easy battles but fun and that's kind of a breath of fresh air. Not a high spectrum of enemies but feels constant to the plot without being random.
Story: not the strong point. Generic villains, generic protagonists, with a few cool attributes, but the dialogue and story is bland. Graphics: RPG Maker like. So pretty good. Music: eh......its aight Gameplay: Equipping spells is a good way for strategy, and not too frustrating like Glorious Hunter. Pay for the bonus places and you will have more skill slots than needed. Controls are a little messy with the pad. Notes: Be very vigilant in getting new skills and Keep the BP gauge up.
A very dry RPG. The story is basic, you're just trying to stop the bad guy. It isn't a very long game, and out of all of Kemco's titles I've played I have to say it had the most promise on its face for an experience more similar to Final Fantasy. The biggest letdown of this game is the gameplay; specifically with how fast the characters leveled compared to how enemies scaled to the characters. Not necessarily a bad game but it disappointed me in the end."
