`Totally stupid compared to the website. First of all, sometimes the tabs on your screen that tell how many questions you have cover up choice D, (what's the point of the question counter anyway?) so I have to slide just to see it. Then when you click "let's review it doesn't even tell whether your answer is correct or not. Nor does it show the correct one. And last but not least, I cannot see the writing prompt. I switched to landscape mode & etc but even THAT doesn't help. Don't use.`,If students log out of the app then log back in, they get signed in as a guest. Even if students uninstall the app and log back in, they get signed in as guests. Additionally, the app inconsistently allows students to complete the Power Words activity offline. I like that teachers can still track time on task when students are using the app offline. Dates of student app use are not always accurately recorded for teachers.
This app is very intetesting. It has many articles about various categories. So just reading that is very awesome. What's more this app make me control difficulty of the articles. So we can make it easy or hard for my level. it gives me 6 levels. Especially if you learn English this app is good choice to improve your reading skills.
This is the most amazing resouce ever for social studies, current events, and topical, informational texts. The most brilliant aspect of Newsela's pieces (all of which are adapted from reputable sources like The Washington Post, The New York Times, etc.) is that all of the articles come in 5 DIFFERENT LEVELS. Amazing! And if arr fortunate enough to have Newsela-Pro, you are among the most fortunate of educators. All of the data one is able to collect and interpret is extremely useful and easily accessible by teachers. I love Newsela ABOVE ALL OTHERS!!
Unless your on a tablet or computer don't even bother with this app. I tried to do my assignment on my phone because my tablet died and I couldn't move on to the next question! And I had to get it done within the next 20 minutes whixh added more stress to my shoulders. So thanks Newsela for making me fail an article for your crappy phone version of your app."
