Play this online game named Walking School Bus - LG.

The purpose of this app (Walking School Bus - LG) is to assist a primary school community.
Victoria Avenue Public School (VAPS), a primary school located in Concord West in New South Wales, runs a community called "Walking School Bus" (WSB) operated by volunteering parents.
About 20 students walk to school and back home safely under the careful supervision of three volunteering parents in the morning and afternoon every weekdays.

The WSB had started by few parents initially and then it was approved by the school and the City Council after careful consideration. A few police officers join the WSB to walk with volunteers and children in some occasions.

This app (WSB-LG) is designed to assist the bus administrators to be able to organise each bus efficiently making sure which students and which volunteers will be in each bus, and other necessary administrative tasks.

Currently, "Walking School Bus" (WSB) runs between the school (VAPS) and Liberty Grove, a suburb where a large number of kids going to VAPS. Hence, the app (WSB-LG) is designed for the specific routes to Liberty Grove.

WSB-LG is a free app for parents including administrators and volunteers to play online and use to organise and monitor bus activities in real time.

This app also features a real time broadcasting of GPS location.
One of the volunteers turns on GPS Broadcasting function in the app during the bus, and then other parents can see where the bus is at in real time using GPS Tracking function in the app.
This GPS Broadcasting feature requires a background GPS update for about 30 minutes during each bus.

This app includes the following features:
1. Student list for each bus.
2. Volunteer list for each bus.
3. Daily Planner.
4. Weekly Planner.
5. Change Request for last minute changes from students and/or volunteers.
6. Notification to parents via WhatsApp.
7. Push Notification to parents
8. GPS Broadcasting from a volunteer to other parents in real time.
9. GPS Tracking for parents in real time.
10. Send Kids List prior to each bus for parents to make last minute changes if necessary.
11. Send Snapshot of each bus to keep the records of details of the bus on arrival to the destination.
12. Login.
13. Forgot Password.
14. Change Password.

Updates:

1. Removes Push Notification ticker(s) in the Notification Area when it has been viewed.
2. Extends the timeout that controls the centering of the map in the GPS Tracking page.
3. Stops GPS Broadcasting when the route has completed. Also, GPS Broadcasting will automatically stop after 60 minutes of use in one session.
