The Arte de Pontear Viola is the result of more than twenty years of work by the guitar player Roberto Corra and was elaborated from his experience in teaching the viola, since 1985, and from his research on the traditions of the instrument. The method is the author's original creation and was launched in 2000 in the book of the same name, which became a reference work for the study of the viola caipira.
