Digital India Program envisions to Transform India into a Digitally Empowered Society and Knowledge Economy. In order to provide impetus to this vision, Digital India Learning Management System (DI-LMS) aims to enrich the capacities of various Government officials in the Ministries and Departments at the Centre and States/ Union Territories by providing them access to digital learning content. Thereby it facilitates to build a competent Digital Work Force to face the challenges in the future.

DI-LMS enables interminable learning, driven by role-based knowledge and skills as envisaged in the e-Governance Competency Framework (e-GCF). This competency based training approach leverages understanding of knowledge areas, skills and training needed by e-Governance practitioners based on their job roles and responsibilities. It is an online learning centre for all kinds of content related to Self-learning, Blended learning and Instructor led learning.
DI-LMS helps to manage effective learning and compliance reporting by steering all activities and tracking of trainings into a single converge. DI-LMS being implemented by NeGD adopts technology to harness the subtle exchange of learning and knowledge as a way of easy-learning.
