The Six Linked Management Models for Mastering Change
1. The 3 Phases of Change Model - represents the process of change. It helps you to understand all things change management before the change, during the change, and after the change.
2. The 7 Attributes of Excellent Management - is the engine of change management. Here we help you with 1. Building Excellent Leaders; 2. Building an Excellent Culture; 3. Building Excellent Customer Focus; 4. Building Up People, People Management Skills, and Team Building; 5. Building Excellent Core Competencies and Problem Solving Skills (including Program and Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, etc.); 6. Building Excellent Continuous Improvement of Processes, Systems, Products, and Services; 7. Building Excellent Performance Measure.
3. The 5 Elements of Strategy and the Storms of Chaos - is one of the primary drivers of change. Here we look at 1. The Waves of Trends and Forecasting; 2. The Lightning of the Unexpected and Risk Management; 3. The Buoyancy of Everything Supporting Us; 4. The Storms of Everything Trying to Sink Us; And 5. Our Ship. Opportunities and Threats, Strengths and Weaknesses (SWOT).
4. The Three Phases of Continuous Improvement - This is another primary driver of change. It is a simplified version of Lean Six Sigma that everyone can use. We boil it down to 1. The Analysis Phase; 2. The Problem-Solving Phase; and 3 The Implementation Phase.
5. The 5 Elements of the Secondary Drivers of Change - happens after we make a change. Secondary changes bounce around the organization changing other things like, 1. The External Environment; 2. Our People; 3. The Organizational Structure; 4. The Internal Environment (Culture); and 5 Systems.
6. Systems Thinking - This is also a secondary driver of change and a key problem-solving tool. Here we use the other models to understand where changes should be made.
