STEINS;GATE is the second collaborative work between 5pb and Nitroplus with a science-fiction/adventure theme.
Released on October 2009 for the Xbox 360, it won the highest Famitsu Award (Japanese video game magazine).
Later, the game was released for the PC & PSP, along with additional merchandise such as spin-off video games, character songs and drama CDs. The series has sold more than 100,000 copies.
An anime adaptation began airing on April 2011, and it is becoming increasingly popular.
The story found in STEINS;GATE is not your usual time traveling fare, but is a "hypothetical science adventure" focused on the structure of time travel itself.
Many of the situations and scientific concepts referred to in the game have been plucked from real science; the story-line is therefore credible and intellectual stimulating for players.

Rintato Okabe known as "Okarin" is a university student with second-grade syndrome.
He is a self-proclaimed mad scientist named as "Kyoma Hououin". He is the founder of what he calls the "Future Gadget Laboratory" where he spends most of his time inventing odd things along with two other members.
One day, they accidentally invented a "time machine" that could send text messages to the past...

`Folks in the reviews were really expecting this game to be released for free, huh? It's a 620k word visual novel... and it literally says "in-game purchases" in the app description. That said-- it's really good and this is an okay way to experience the story. If you want to play it in English, you're going to have to do some legwork on your own. This port isn't PERFECT, but it's mostly the menu buttons being tricky. Nothing that would ruin your experience.`,The game is a fantastic visual novel that pulls you in but I have to give only 3 stars because the game requires you to purchase it after the first chapter and this is not in the description. As for those of you that cannot read Japanese, there is a translation for the game out there. Just google it, get the files, and it is a simple copy + paste job from there.
The VN itself is awesome. But it's only in Japanese while the PS3, PS Vita and PC version have English subtitles. They could at least do an English patch for the mobile version.
EL PSY KONGROO for English reader, so if you play online this beast there are patches out there to make it English just type up English patch for android and you'll find, so steins gate is probably my favorite vn I don't have a super lot of experience with the Genre but I can say for sure that this is a masterpiece, if you have steam or a switch check out the elite version it's also amazing.
`About Steins;Gate i only love the anime, this game was displayed free, but when i clicked the button to play online and then i open it the game was not opened, i only see blackscreen and "purchase the game" everytime when i opened it, i was just confused, for me it's better to use ppsspp rather than trying hard to get the game, in ios devices Steins;Gate was perfect, but in android i think the developer just doesn't want to bring a free game cause of the quality was not for free`Page navigation:
