Comments:
Great for kids. Students 3rd grade and up really get into building and polishing up their games. Younger students grab the concepts as well, but often don't create as polished of games. Recommend for ages 8 and Up to get the most use out of everything they offer. The program is easy to use and learn. Lots of video tutorials to help. I have been teaching Bloxels since their early years. Bloxels has come a long way. Many great additions and always improving to add more.
Great... if you only want to make a single game in 1 sitting.. Had an error while developing my game it told me to close the app I did. When i came back it would not open my game for me. Re-logged multiple times. Then every tab was an exact copy of the games tab all of them had switched. Errors all around. No way to change art into characters figured that out after spending an hour making art. Just no. If we didn't have the kit I would not pay for the app. Sad just sad. Developers took about 1-2 months to get back to me on my issue. At least they did some won't ever get back to you.
Very disappointing. We bought the full Bloxels kit for our kids in 2018 and they loved it. We tried using it again recently, and the functionality of the app has changed. We would have to pay additional fees, and the original $60 kit is useless. This is a shameless money grab and a very disappointing way to treat existing users of the app.
Was going to purchase a trial subscription, but login failed to fill. I would try to type something into the login field and it would just disappear. This happens not only on the create account screen, but also on the login screen when I tested just to see if I could put my email into the box. Disappointing.
I used to love this game. Now you have to spend 20$ just to play. It isn't even as good as it was, from the random games of on the arcade I've played. Destructible blocks don't exist, and you kill things by jumping on them, which makes this literally just a bad mario knockoff in terms of gameplay. If you made it so that I could build games without paying, I'd give it 3 stars. If you brought back the old mechanics, 5. I would not recommend this game, unless you have a lot of money. Thank you."
