The features and functionality of MinVolkswagen requires a Volkswagen car with the official hardware installed. It is possible to book an installation of the hardware through the app or by contacting your local Volkswagen dealer.

MinVolkswagen is backward compatible with Volkswagen cars from 2008 and forward.

With this update you now get even more insight into your trips. You can view the past speed and driving events such as normal and hard brakes along the trip.
On top of that, you can generate a claim of the damages to your car and share it with your insurance company via the app. Use the new "Report a Claim" feature, if your car happens to get damaged.
