Comments:
It's good, but could use a couple features that would really make it better. 1-a pause and play button during the commands. That way you don't have to start from the beginning every time. 2-ability to make a custom event or the option to change the amount of time for a sequence (ex. ability to change the slow fire from 10 minutes down to 5 minutes). Otherwise it does what it's supposed to.
Solid training app. I use it on low speaker volume to simulate a quiet range officer calling the line. Optional loop feature for rapid fire training works nice.
The commands aren't right. The NRA Precision Pistol Rules gives “Ten shots slow fire - ten shots in ten minutes. Load.” At matches, it’s customarily, “This is a string of slow fire - ten shots in ten minutes. Load.” The others are, “This is a string of timed fire, five shots in twenty seconds. With five rounds, load” and “This is a string of rapid fire, five shots in ten seconds. With five rounds, load.” The app simply gives “With five rounds, load.” That’s wrong or incomplete.
Timing sequences is good. I would like the course of fire to be announced as part of the sequence.
App works great. I use it for practice and drills.'
