DESCRIPTION

Play this online game named Berlin Lake Temp Widget.

Version 3.0

Displays the current water temperature of of Berlin Lake in Deerfield, Ohio. The temperature is obtained from the United States Army Corp. of Engineers Berlin Dam outflow sensor. It also uses the USGS bouy data system to obtain temperature information for the temp scan feature.

Click on the widget and it displays ascan graph of the water temperature from the surface to the bottom. Use the scope adjustment to fine tune the color in order to better define the thermocline.

The widget also displays the water depth offset, reporting how many feet above or below the NORMAL water lever (otherwise known as Summer Pool Level). It is in RED if below normal and GREEN if normal or above. This value is useful for safety and calibration purposes.

This is a widget so you will need to place it on your phone or tablet screen accordingly.

The refresh rate is set at 60 minutes. The kb data transfer rate is very small.

The time stamp at the base of the display shows the time the widget last accessed the USACE server to retrieve the temperature.

Major addition! v2.0 now supports multidepth bouy data.

- View temps from 1 - 70 feet deep.
(depth numbers are approx but close enough)

- Color encoded temperature care. Visually detect thermocline based on color separation at depth.
