This app doesnt actually teach you hiragana, it actually only makes you match the symbols to each other, would not use this app unless you're trying to memorise by going and saying what each symbol means as you tap on it.

its meant to be used along side a traditional curriculum. when used properly it is actually a really good app for studying

nothing to do with learning Japanese. it is a speed matching game.

In what world is this going to help me to learn hiragana?

The design is great and it works fine, but it would be better if instead of the sound effects we could hear the pronunciation of the letter, so this way we could learn while pay at the same time.'
