Use UptoPlay to play online the game KMFRI Ocean Tide Predictions.
This app contains the 2020 and 2021 official Indian Ocean Tide Predictions for Mombasa and Lamu as provided by the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Institute (KMFRI).
The tide predictions are in form of high-low listings and have been generated using special tidal analysis software (T_TIDE) with hourly and quality controlled time series of sea-level observations from the station as input data.
The heights presented in these tide tables are meters above the lowest astronomical tide. The predictions are referenced to local time. The Time zone for Mombasa and Lamu is GMT + 3 hours.
KMFRI is distributing these predictions to all relevant and interested organizations as well as individuals dealing with the marine environment to facilitate their research, navigational and recreational activities.
